The Cypher + The Better Food Foundation

Both the Better Food Foundation and The Cypher approached us with a unique collaborative project. Their vision was to create compelling video content that highlighted the intersection of plant-based diets and ancestral knowledge. The focus was on producing a feature video showcasing an herb walk led by LoriKim Alexander, Founder of The Cypher, enhanced with a broader narrative about the mission of both organizations.

Deliverables: Our deliverables included two tailored videos: a brand-focused video for The Cypher that communicated its dedication to plant-based ancestral knowledge, and a feature video for the Better Food Foundation’s Flipit platform, capturing the essence and educational aspects of the herb walk.

Scope of Work: In close collaboration with Zoe Goldberg, VP of Marketing at the Better Food Foundation, our team developed comprehensive interview questions and scripts to deeply explore the project's themes. The pre-production phase involved detailed planning and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project's goals. On the days of the shoot, our agency oversaw all production aspects, from camera operations to sound and lighting, ensuring high-quality execution. We also managed a skilled crew, essential for capturing the detailed essence of the herb walk.

Results: The resulting videos effectively highlighted the educational and engaging elements of LoriKim Alexander's herb walk, serving as vital tools for both organizations. The feature video on the herb walk became the highest-viewed video on the Flipit platform, significantly boosting viewer engagement. This project showcased our agency’s ability to manage complex narratives and lead diverse teams to produce cohesive and impactful content that aligns with our clients’ visions.
